Kyoukai no Rinne Review

If you are an avid anime viewer, you should recognize this drawing style almost instantly. Yup, it is drawn by the same person (Rumiko Takahashi 高橋 留美子) who drew INUYASHA (Aired on adult swim) and RANMA 1/2. I have watched 5 episodes so far and I am liking it. The little romance makes it a bit more fun to watch. Here is the plot found on wikipedia, "Rin-ne revolves around Sakura Mamiya, a high school girl who became able to see ghosts after she was "spirited away" for a week when she was a child, though she does not remember the details of the experience. Once in high school, Sakura wishes to be rid of her extrasensory perception, which is an annoyance to her. She meets a shinigami of sorts named Rinne Rokudo, a classmate of hers who was absent for the first month or so of school. His job is to guide spirits, whose regrets bind them to Earth, to the wheel of reincarnation so that they may be reborn. The wheel appears as a large red, spoked wheel revolving in the sky." If you are not into yokai, shinigami or spirit genre, I don't think you'll like this anime as much. There is a cute little black cat in this anime. Hahaha. :D The main female character is quite likeable compared to Akane from Ranma 1/2. I didn't quite like Akane because she was too violent lol. I give this anime a 4 out of 5 so far, but I will keep you guys posted.
