 I have gone to Hakksan more than 5 times now. It seems like I tend to crave for it every time I am in the area. Haha.. I also have a habit of getting the same appetizers from this place except for entree. I really like the duck salad here and the dim sum is not a wow, but it tastes cleaner.

 Presentation is also better than your average chinese dim sum.

 I got the same exact dessert the last time I came here too LOL.

Missing Bor Bor!

Cooking of the week

 Organic bone in pork chop with lemongrass and shallot. This was a thick piece of meat! All ingredients bought from Whole Foods.

 Five spice chicken leg. The meat was surprisingly moist and I baked this for 40 minutes at 375 degrees.

MONSTER hunter update

I haven't exercised ever since I got into MHW. 

The trophies that are achievable:

- MH 100. 80 out of 100 HR now.

- Slay 500 monsters

- 50 Guild cards... MAYBE. I only have 20/50!

- 50 Arena Quests

I find the crown trophies a bit difficult, since I have missed some event quests and this is also luck based.

Lululun One Night Mask Review

I have used Lululun masks in the past, but not particularly impressed. I decided to try this one because it's supposed to remove dead skin cells while providing moisture. The mask felt soft and super super saturated with serum. I left this on for 20-25 minutes, but there was still A VERY GOOD AMOUNT of serum on my face. Normally it should be dried up a bit by now. I didn't see any major effects, but this felt quite nice on my face and didn't feel heavy. I have combination skin, and I have to be careful with what kind of sheet masks I use if I don't want to breakout. This didn't break me out, so I think I might give this another shot.

200 yen in Japan, but I think 5 bucks in the US.

Tempered Deviljho Tips

1.) Equip decorations that give you HEALTH and STUN resistance

2.) Use pitfalls! He will be stuck there A LOT longer than the shock trap. If he is caught in it while holding onto Jagra in his mouth, he will drop Jagra!

3.) Flash works, but you have to aim it right at his face! Use it to stun him if someone is in danger for example

4.) Use MAX POTIONS if needed. Don't even save them!

5.) Roll backwards when he does his breath flare *Watch your health!*

6.) Don't stand in front of his mouth whenever he is caught in the PITFALL!!!!

7.) Dung pod him to OTHER locations where you have more space!!! If you find a location too small, DON'T fight him there!

8.) UTILIZE the environment by getting him stuck in traps or having rocks fall on him! The rocks do 1k damage

9.) Watch your time. 50 minutes only.

10.) Use poison bombs if you can or bombs!

These are just tips I came up with after fighting him a few times. I was able to beat this with my cousin. Just us two! It took us 47 out of 50 minutes. It was a very close call.

Sakura Drops

I am missing out on the sakura season again this year in Japan. I have been having really intense headaches. I normally don't like to take med unless I absolutely have it. I am more into natural remedies, so you know it's bad when I have to pull out a Tylenol or something.

Who doesn't like cherry blossom?! These are amazing and beautiful! I am keeping Amino Mason's jars haha, but my mom will probably want them! Amino Mason's products are actually quite nice and the packaging is beautiful. I should do a review on them, but I paid 20 bucks plus just to ship them there!

The weather in California has been so so... T____T

I actually have gone to one of the places Kantaro has gone to LMAO. I didn't go to the booth he went to, but I had sweets from another. This place was very memorable and delicious from my perspective!

I ordered this too btw.. LMAO I ate so much!!!! It was so worth it and delicious!

I finally got around to finishing Kantaro. I wanted to visit those sweet shops in Tokyo! Haha.. it's hard to watch it on an empty stomach. I am so impressed by Matsuya Onoe's performance, he portrayed the character really well and love his food orgasm moments / expressions.

Uni VS pebble

He gets so entertained just from playing with his pebbles for hours. It is so adorable to me how the simple things can mean so much to a cat. I watched him play with his food on his own and he is so happy from it. Like how is that possible? The innocence put a huge smile on my face. I am so thankful for Uni because I was so sad after Bor Bor passed. Bor Bor is irreplaceable and so is Uni. I am thankful to have crossed paths with them.
