1.) Play with people you know and can play well (I did SOS a few times and people would usually get carted a few minutes after game starts)
2.) Equip armor that adds value to the thunder icon
3.) Blight resistance or bring nullberries
4.) Bring thunder mantle
5.) Dung bomb in order to fight in open areas that you can dodge Kirin's attacks
6.) Location is very important! Don't fight in the area with the small platforms near his hive
7.) Bring max potion for emergency healing
8.) Eat a meal that gives you LARGE element resistance
9.) A little luck helps
10.) The paralysis frogs won't work on him, but sleep toads will.
