Not the best looking product I have to admit, but it's not like I am going to eat it.
It is a bit grainy.
The first thing to take into consideration is its scent. It has a herbal and grassy scent to it that I can't exactly describe. It is described as "unpleasant" by many on the internet, but I am okay with its scent. After wetting my hands, it easily turns into this paste and you can adjust its thickness by adding more or less water. It doesn't get foamy, but that's fine with me as long as it does its job. This cleanser doesn't seem to remove makeup, but it does seem to clean dirt and oil well. I haven't had any breakouts since I started using it. It leaves my face feeling moisturized and I think it's from the essential oil. I am liking this cleanser so far, but it could get messy each time because of the ground almond and the green paste. I am giving this product a B+. Lastly, the ground almond doesn't exactly exfoliate my skin that well and I have to follow up with the sea salt scrub in order to get rid of the dry patches.
