I helped someone move out of their place and there was not a thank you. I moved the heaviest furniture with two other people for this family. I did it VOLUNTARILY, and the dad of the family wasn't exactly the nicest. It's not like I did what I did for a "thank you" from this family, but it did come off as rude.
